Parma Recordings has scheduled a session with Trio Casals to record David’s newest composition Three for Three.  The session will be at Rose Recital Hall in Philadelphia on October 13, 2018.  The work is a continuation of the dance theme he used in “Habanera”, recorded by the same group last year.

Trio Casals has performed “Habanera” at several venues.  It was performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York last May, as part of a program titled Moto Bello of compositions by living composers.  The title is also the name of the album on NavonaRecords.

David and his wife Xina will be traveling to Europe in September.  They will see Prague for the second time, then Nuremburg, Regensburg, Passau, Vienna, and Budapest.  They are looking forward to concerts in all the cities. David’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra was recorded in Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 2011.
